Jewelry designer/artist based in Copenhagen

I am Sofie Josefine Nørreriis, a 25-year-old jewelry designer and artist based in Copenhagen. I am currently studying Jewelry, Technology, and Business at KEA. My passion for creating unique and meaningful pieces drives my work as a jewelry designer. I am always seeking to push the boundaries of traditional design through experimentation with new techniques and materials.

Since 2020, I have had my own workspace at Studio 40, which has allowed me to bring my designs to life. Furthermore, my membership in the creative collective Kmmunity since 2021 has provided me with a platform to showcase and sell my work.

Through my education at KEA i have gained knowledge of: 

  • Consumer behaviour, sales strategies and branding strategies. 
  •  Jewellery production, methods and materials. 
  • Sustainability and alternative materials. 
  • Digital 3-D drawing, 3-D printing and rendering. 
  • Design theory and tools, especially the design thinking method. 
  • Trendspotting. 
  • Analysing brands from a business perspective. 
  • Identifying and applying form and aesthetics in relation to a specific market and company

Technical skills in : Word, InDesign, Photoshop, Rhinoceros and KeyShot.  

Languages : Danish and English.
